Awal Nouzilal seeks to be a creative space in Azilal Province that provides free education, exposes youth to future opportunities, and creates economic opportunities for Azilal Province. Inspired by organizations like Peace Corps, Corps Africa, and L’blend, Awal Nouzilal believes in empowering local communities and sustainable development. All of our programs are currently led by young adults in the region who aim to make a change. To empower our communities we focus in three sectors: Cultural Preservation, Community Service, and Entrepreneurship.

Awal Nouzilal empowers communities through youth-led projects in cultural innovation. To preserve the indigenous culture of Morocco (Amazigh), we equip youth with story-telling techniques, research tools, media training to express their identity through art and technology.

Awal Nouzilal empowers communities through youth-led projects in education. We train youth program-managers, they train youth program-leaders and they lead youth through Peace Corps’ designed youth development programs. This essentially creates a sustainable youth-led trainer of trainer series.

Workshop Nouzilal, aims to equip youth with diverse and professional perspectives and experiences. We will provide trainings and workshop developments for youth and women to provide greater economic opportunities.
